Turkey meatball sub

Turkey Meatball Sub

The substitution of beef for turkey in this meatball sub is so seamless and delicious, you’re going to wonder why you didn’t start doing it a while ago. With all the same toppings that make a sub great, you won’t even notice the subtle difference in taste, which is a small sacrifice for the immense nutritional benefit.

1 lb ground 100% turkey breast
1 egg
½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs
1/2 cup green pepper
1/2 cup onions
1 cup red sauce
How to make it

Combine the turkey breast, egg, and breadcrumbs.

Bake at 375˚ F until meatballs are golden brown.

Sautée the green pepper, onions, and red sauce in a pan.
